INNSBRUCK IMMERSIVE
XR FESTIVAL
Hosted at Sankt Bartlmä 3 Halle 6, we curated the second edition of the Innsbruck Immersive XR Festival (IIXR) as an extension of the Diametrale Film Festival.
Taking place on 13–14 March, the program focused on critical AI and experimental moving-image practices, approaching the medium as a way to examine the social, cultural, and political dimensions of technologically mediated environments. From Cinema XR screenings and interactive installations to VR/MR experiences and storytelling workshops, it was truly an amazing run. A special thanks to all our visitors and the artists who made this possible.
